If I were to combine NB shocks and springs with NA top hats the car ends up higher, right? If that assumption is correct, does anyone know how much it would lift the car?

Is this an NA or NB? The NA hats won't fit through the chassis in the NB, IIRC.

I'd guess about 3/4" lift. You'll need some sort of spacer under the top nuts on the shocks.

In reply to Keith Tanner :

I was thinking of NB springs and shocks, NA top hats, in an NA. I'd like to lift the car slightly and I seem to remember some talk of ride heights changing due to the differences between NA and NB components.

Yes, you will lift the car with that setup and I’ll bet there is a non-zero number of rallycrossers using it. Easier might be to find a set of stock 96 springs, they look like a 4x4.
