I was looking for the videos on Youtube of the CTR2 that was featured in the magazine at one point in time and came across these history of RUF videos. Definitely seem like a promotional video. Still awesome to watch if you've got some time (Too busy? Make time fool). I believe its part three where the Yellowbird comes up, then CTR 2 etc. etc..
Part 1 is kind of a where it started, Part 2 is restoration stuff, 3 and 4 are CTR awesomeness till present.

One of my favorite car vids of all time is the CTR RUF on the Nurburgring video. Unfortunately I've only found very low-rez versions online, but its still awesome:
