I need to stay away from the classifieds.

1974 Opel Manta. All the as says is it's an auto, and the air works. Thousand bucks. I've read a very little bit online, most of which said the car handled well, and I dig the styling. I also like this price, what say yea?

NOTE: this is purely bench racing.

A '74 will have the big aluminium bumpers, but not yet have the upgraded brakes or fuel injection that came in '75. Even so, they are great handling cars and a blast to drive.

I love me some Manta. Ford built the Mustang, then Chevy built the Camaro. In much the same way, Ford tried to duplicate their Mustang success in Europe with the Capri. It worked well, so Opel responded with the Manta.

If it's in reasonable condition, they're super cool cars.

I heart Mantas as well. They are not common 'round these parts, though.

There are two Opel GT's in a local FSBO type paper. I am going to quit buying those damn papers and concentrate on the Jensenator.

That almost looks like a front engined Corvair.

Another GM product that I would actually like to own some day. I think my list is up to six now.
