I've got this MSD 6A that's been collecting dust, and I've been wondering if I could or should run it on my '86 300zx rallyX/autoX beater.

Has anyone out there run an MSD on a VG30? If so, was it a complicated install? Was it worth the trouble? Thanks for any info.

I don't see why not. The VG30E has a pretty simple ignition system.

Looks like it should just go between the power transistor and coil; simple enough.
