Anyone ever heard of this?

Supposed to be about $2k which seems high, but it replaces a plasma cutter, welding torch and oxy/acetylene rig. Oh, and it uses water.

Wow these guys have come a really long way. I saw them at a trade show in Chicago 15 years ago and they could only cut thin metal.
This is pretty cool IMO. I thought it was 15 years ago too.
Very cool.
When I saw that it used water, I was expcting another one of those HHO / Brown's gas scams.
The plasma thing is very cool, $2000 doesn't seem too bad for relatively new tech. Plasma cutters were close to that price a few years ago.

How isn't it a browns gas rig? It converts water to HHO and burns it in a special nozzle. The only thing new is that they add alcohol to the water for welding.
They throw you off by saying 100% duty cycle and other electric welder specs but never tell you you will be torch welding.
Hmm, maybe I missed something.
I read it that the water was turned to steam, then turned to plasma and that's what was used to cut.
Perhaps I'm confused.

Interesting.
Anyone have a clue on how it works?
OK, went and found a video, whats with the wires to ground the work and the filler rod? Its a torch no?Whats with ground leads?
