I don't know where I stand on this. I mean, on one hand, it's a waste of a Gallardo, a colossal waste of money, a waste of status and a purist's nightmare.

That said, it's so perverse that I think it's a great idea. Most expensive sleeper ever. Biggest downgrade ever.

It needs bigger/wider/lower offset rear wheels to make it look "right".

    ...and...GO!!!

I like it. I don't think it looks enough like a Mustang, but I like the idea for sure.

But then I've always wanted to put 318 badges on an M3.

I really like how the Lamborghini dash worked out in the Mustang. I hate everything else about it.

I like it. A lot. Every Mustang needs Lambo guts.

That's one of the most confusing things I've ever seen. On the one hand......but then......

Final verdict is 'awesome!'. I think.

I wanna see it from underneath!

I'm really conflicted here. You get a Lambo without all the attention but only the handling of a mustang?

I hope he swapped all the suspension bits too.

looks ok from the side, the back is a disaster. The flares and side skirts look good. +1 for crazy ideas and engineering, -1 for bad taste. If you started with 2 wrecks thats one thing, but this? Big money for what? A car thats now worth less than the 2 you started with?

If I worked at that shop, I would have been lobbying for keeping the rear end and the interior all mustang. If it doesnt look like a stock mustang without a backseat, Whats the point? and I like mustangs.

This is another answer to the question.

"How do you end up with a small pile of cash?"

The answer use to be " Start with a large one and go racing"

The answer is now "Build a Fobo"

    OR

The answer is now "Build a Foni" lol.. .. Enunciate the I as an E.

We all would need a better sense of humor.

I agree. The back end is a failure...

But otherwise, it's so silly I like it.

    "LambFordini"?

Neat idea, not my cup of tea. I suggest

"Lamfordghini gallardang" as in dang that rear end is uuugly...

This car is kind of cool because it reminds of the really wild things that people build in scale model cars. Hcking up a Mustang and a Lambo model for something this nuts is "normal", so to see it in real life is just kinda cool because it's so off the wall. Not my personal cup of tea, and the rear end is FUGLY, but I have to have to appreciate the creativity and wackiness. We need more show car stuff like this and less of the "me too" lemming stuff.

I am not sure the rear is too hidious. No doubt it might NEED all that venting to keep the engine cool.. but that might have also been accomplished another way.

I think if I had done it.. I would have left the mustang tailights alone.. but put a vent between them.. and then opened up beneath the bumper where the plate goes.. and put a vent there too.

I also would have gone back to the 70s stying, pulled out the rear window (after putting an internal partition in) and put louvers in it's place

um...I don't think they put the Lambo stuff in a Mustang chassis. I think they re-styled the Lamborghini to appear as though it were a Mustang. IE, this is a body kit...

    nevermind...I looked closer.

it is much cooler than I thought it was...but still, why?

How can you spend that much money, and then they give you are car with the wheel fitment of a 10th grader with a wide body kit on a Kia? I mean really, the car would be totally worth something if the wheels and tires fit the car, but as it sits, it's just a really ugly mustang.

I think disguising the black portion of the rear with simple paint would go far to keep it from looking like an abomination.

If he wanted a really powerful Mustang why not buy one of the Shelby tuned Mustangs? There is an option of 725bhp and it is whole lot cheaper and not nearly as ugly.
