I've been perusing these, and it is pretty easy to tell which ones have a DOHC engine in them.

A lot of the Ztecs say "zetec" on them, but I understand some don't. What is the best way to identify the 2.3?

    2004 or later car and....?

    Here's a handy reference:

I believe the 8th digit of the VIN relates to the motor, too: P=2.0L Zetec, N=2.0L Duratec, Z=2.3L Duratec. But I would double check that before you quote me.

Why not just buy something that's just for commuting and pizza duty? Like an old Escort, Protege, Civic, Accord or something. The Focus simply isn't as cool as your RS, and you'll probably never like it in the same way.

If anyone is interested I've got two sets of Eibach Pro springs (~2.25" drop) that I'll let go for $50 each + S&H and will have a set of Steeda springs (~1.5" drop) that will be available when I get around to swapping to the SVT kit.
