Yes, that IS a relay that up until this afternoon, was attached to my car. Errrrr... it was at least plugged in, i should say. Denso H300.
Heat IS overrated. The only reason i bothered to fix it was that i couldn't defrost my car in the morning, and the only time i could keep ice off my windows was if i was going highway speeds. Kindof hard to get up to highway speeds if i can't see.
Streetwiseguy, you're onto it. It took me MONTHS to just find this damn thing. Previous owner had relocated it due to FMIC setup. Apparently it now lived underneath may battery tray, upside down, and not actually kept in place by anything. Just stuffed in there with the rest of the harness. I didn't bother to check the other relay that's just hanging out down there, but i can't really think of anything else that doesn't (Now, "didn't") work.
Snorkle, the heater doesn't look like that.... but the relay did.
I'm the car's 13th or 14th owner (the first 12 or 13 were dumb.), and it's been totaled a time or two.
For my next trick, i will rip apart my door to get my window back on track.

Maybe you'll find some cocaine in there.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

I don't suppose Per would let you recoup Challenge budget by the gram...

So you post a picture of a standard LUCAS relay...what is your point?

This isn't going on budget because the relay worked when i bought the car over 2 years ago. It's failed in the meantime. If the masses revolt over that, i'll put the 25 cents on the budget if it prevents accusations of cheating.

Well in light of that additional information, my point is that obviously those damn Brits shouldn't have touched my Japanese car!

Logic dictates that this statement means if you were the 13th owner, you are/were dumb.

Well, maybe. There's a 50/50 chance. I'm not exactly sure how many people owned it. Carfax shows 12 before me, but i know it passed hands without being registered a time or few.
And yeah... i might be dumb.

Can you deduct the profits from redistributing such things from the Challenge budget?

I believe my recoup limit will have already been met, sadly.
Worst case scenario, i have the best (or worst, depending how you look at it) bribe for the judges ever!
