The wheels are Konig somethings. They're not terrible, I guess, I just feel like they're too big, haha. My last 7 cars have/had 14s, 17s seem huge.

    Found them, they're Konig Imagines

    How about that?

All you people who keep finding these incredible deals like $100 running Miatae and berkleying free E30s, really, truly, officially suck!

    Man, I'm DAMN envious.

Don't forget about that bastard that scored that '91 MR2 for $500.

Seriously though, I was in the same boat the past few years, all the best deals I could find where $300-$500 over priced or way ratty. Then these deals just fell into my lap. It wasn't until I stopped looking that found the deals. Maybe that's the secret.

I would do the wheels in flat black as well.

I think by doing this and keeping the lip polished, I'll really warm up to these wheels. I'll do it Saturday

    I once scored a free E30 - an '84 318 coupe.

When I was in my early teens, I had long hair. My very conservative great uncle always wanted me to cut my hair. One summer, I finally did.

The great uncle in question had an 84 E30 318 in his backyard and he bet my dad the E30 that I wouldn't cut my hair. My dad never told him that I already had cut my hair. When I showed up to his house and he saw my "new" haircut, he gave my dad the E30, who in turn gave it to me.

I like the wheels that are on it. They nicely update it.

Now something like that could get this E21-lovin' fool into an E30. I'd eat a plate of crow for that (you shoulda heard me when the E30 came out.. ).

Add me to the long line of jealous people here...

    Update:

It's home now. Actually, it's been home for about 3 weeks but I finally have some pictures and have been able to do some work on it. Ignore the date stamp. I was using my wife's camera, (mine's still packed, somewhere) I turned it one my accident. The oil pan and oil cooler are both in transit to my house but instead of not doing anything this weekend, I decided to do some cosmetic stuff but it looks a lot different.

I painted the wheels black, removed the sun visor things off the door windows, and painted some trim bits. The "is" air dam is not installed in the pictures but I do have it.
