Why do y'all always have to sell these cars half way across the country.

    Good luck with the sale.

Wow, I've been thinking about a Chevy powered XJS a lot lately and that one has all the heavy lifting done already. I even like the wheels (though I hate the scoop and spoiler).

Champagne is a drink, Champaign is a city, it is a French word meaning "flat and featureless"

I was told the factory engine was considered one of the best V12s ever put in a car.

So... if I just wait until Saturday and pick it up I can have it for free?

I'll just point out that this is poor marketing. You are supposed to say:

"For a fellow GRM'er, the low, low price of $900 until Saturday otherwise it's $1500 if I have to advertise."

Replace the rear view mirrors and that thing would be great.

    Wonder what they weigh.

    A lot.

I also can't help to notice that the seller didn't include any photos of the underside of the car - these things can easily win a rusting competition with a 70s Alfa or Fiat.

The white one went for $900? Rats.

    The XJS has been deleted.

What the XJS or S Type? I don't remember seeing that many rusty XJSs.

The S Type. But XJSs can rust rather well, too, at least the earlier ones.
