No, you're absolutely right. There's a reason why business owners buy brand new Fx50 trucks every 4 - 5 years, drive them, and then buy more new ones. But for someone like me, who just needs a truck to haul lumber, stone, mulch, engines, and a race car occasionally, the beater truck makes sense.
I had to jump-start my boss's brand new Honda Clarity plug-in hybrid last week.

I've done this on 3 separate occasions. Just takes patience on your end.
If you're gonna do that,check into Volvo's Euro Delivery Program. I did ED with BMW 2 years ago & it was a great experience & savings about paid for the trip. I have the impression that Volvo's ED program is better than BMW's.
