Your tire dilemma was answered as soon as I saw your pic. The doors are suicide style. Let the wheel wells encroach into the door and modify to fit. Should let you move to 14s or 15s easy enough.
Before I saw the photo I was going to suggest suiciding the doors and doing this anyway, but the fact that they are a suicide door to begin with makes it pretty easy.
