Im new to the forum but not to motorsports, I have read and fell in love with the $2011 challenge.
I am building my 72 datsun 510 for the event, So far im in it $525 bucks and thats including the cost of the car, a ka24de w/ 5 speed, and the front and rear coil overs.
Hope to make some friends before the event so Im not the lone wolf lol
You can feel free to park next to me and the Type 11 replica I'm building. I've never competed, either, but I worked at the last one and spectated at the one before.....Definitely fun.
I figure after I sell all the interior and trim off the car I will have a damn good chance at having a car that is race worthy, I have been building drag cars for years now its gonna be different actually having to turn the wheel for once lol

Welcome, I'm building a '75 Datsun 280z turbo for the challenge. I'm doing it by myself, and I'm 16. It can be done.
