Just picked up something you boys might like... a 1973 Ford F-350, ramp truck to carry the GRM fleet around on. It is 360 powered, four-speed, power steering, power disc brakes and has 50,000 original miles and original paint. It hadn't run in a few years and was sitting in a barn in Connecticut. My friend, Curt Vogt, from Cobra Automotive, found it and knew I was looking for one. We got it fired up (needed points and the clutch disc unfrozen from the flywheel) and dragged it out. I think for $2500 it will make a good hauler for our junk. I'll get one of my people to post some pics in the a.m.

Great! I'll be certain to have my personal assistant notify my butler to have that link open on the screen in my bathroom for my morning sitting.

Now you need an ugly old wedge trailer to keep the theme of junk hauling junk on junk.

Ramp truck? You've been watching Roadkill, haven't you?

What kind of G's are you expecting on the skidpad?

Depends... Are you talking steady state g-load, or the impact force when it rolls over?

It's a set of stainless wheel simulators and some chicken lights away from being perfect.

Those wheels need to be painted bright white, post haste! Because vintage.

Or red to match its new GRM colors. Or maybe you guys could whip up some vintage GRM decals.

Make sure to keep the vinyl top.

How is it getting back to Florida?

Is it going to make a pass through Curt's shop first?

This is relevant to both GRM and Classic motorsports. Nice find!

Thanks guys. The plan is to leave it at Curt's shop for the summer and come up and get it (probably a few days before Hershey) work on if for a day and then put the Spitfire I bought (half an hour away) on its back, drive to Hershey and then home.

And if by some slight chance I find something I like better to put on its back at Hershey, the Sptifire runs well enough to drive to Florida.

What could possibly go wrong with such a perfect plan.

And as for color, yeah have a little work to do there, although the cab paint is original and in good enough shape I will leave it. And my dream has always been to have a seventies vinyl top.

But do you have a 1973 Ford racecar to put on the back and have the same livery paint job on both?

There weren't too many other good looking Ford racecars from 73

I am sure that it will be considered acceptable to tow a '67 with this '73.

The current logo looks a bit "Ace and Gary."
