drove a titan we had in the shop today.. that truck hauls ass! any one seen this motor swapped into any thing cool? are there any parts available for it?

One of my co-workers has a titan. He said if you tromp on it, it can boil the back tires off. He also said that if you don't stay out of the gas it sucks down the whole tank in no time.
Don't know of any swaps.

yeah I believe both of those claims. The truck pulled way harder then any other stock half ton pickup ive driven. the motor seems like it could have some potential its like an asian lsx

I've heard stories of them swapped into 350Zs. Almost enough to make them uncommonly commonplace.

Check out the new Tundra as well. I know many other people will say otherwise, but the Japanese figured out how to build a nice V8.

I have a Titan, and the motor is great. I don't think there is a manual trans that bolts up though. I always wondered if the heads or cams from the Infiniti 4.5L v8 would bolt on. That motor made like 340hp with way less displacement.
The truck weighs about 3-400 lbs less than its competitors in similar trim which helps out with acceleration, too.
