I was there. Here's what I learned:
7 lap races are too short for everything other than the Indy cars of which more than a third DNFed.
Ditch the motorcycles next year and make the races 10 laps and I'd like it better as a spectator.
I didn't camp at the track and didn't attend the party, but did enjoy the racing.
Nice to meet the GRM staff and the Flyin' Miata guys.
The SBC race with the variable race pit stops was confusing. I'm still not sure who really won. I think the winner never pitted, but who knows.
A megaphone would go a long way when trying to organize/direct a Mazda parade lap record.
Road Atlanta is hillier than I thought.
I like VIR and Barber better than Road Atlanta as far as spectating goes.
Watching a vette lose it coming off turn 9 and doing 2 or 3 spins heading down the hill towards 10a and not hit anything or anybody was cool.
I am not so good at meeting or identifying other GRM forum people.
Staying at a motel with electricity and hot water was nice when there was neither at home due to the tornadoes.

fill it up race gas is expensive
