I was at the Simpson World store in Mooresville, NC today. They have a bunch of shoes (over the wall, race, general purpose) on clearance at killer prices - $10 to $20. The catch is that they are all sizes at both ends of the spectrum - 7 and smaller and 13.5 - 15. I'm a 13 so nothing for me but I have to believe this is a deal for someone out there.

No connection, I would suggest to call the store direct. I've done this in the past and they have been very helpful.

Well since we're on the subject, we stopped at the Rocky Boot outlet in Nelsonville, OH last weekend & they had some crazy deals as well. Steel-toes, loafers, hiking & winter boots; with brands like Michellin, Dickies, Zumfoot & others from $5-$10.

It was a fun town too. There's a nice RR museum next door with a 2-hour train ride that was a lot of fun.

I have an average shoe size.. 10.. however I have VERY narrow feet. I either have to mail order everything or try to find something non-feminine in girl's shoes.

Because I have an "oddball" shoe size (15), I am pretty much forced to go with either Big and Tall stores, if they have shoes, or places like Foot Locker and wear sneaker-like shoes 365 days a year.

My alternative for shoes? There are a couple of Nike factory outlets around the country, luckily one is about an hour away, and they have shoes that go up to 15 and sometimes 16,17,18. Though, when you get to 16 and above it's a REAL grab bag....things like golf shoes or football/softball shoes. The last time I was there I picked up some "cross-training" shoes for $59.00 but because the customer in front of me took a REAL long time to check out.......the cashier took 10% off because I waited.

Every try Puma Suedes? I've got narrowish feet and they're narrow on me.
