If the airbags work you can jack the rear up a little. If not, jack it and stuff some cut to length 4x4s where the bags go

Doing this to a once-$60k-mercedes in the parking lot at the challenge was fun.

So another update. The deal done. I'm now the proud owner of two 70s era GMC motorhomes. Now to get them moved.
I'll be headed out this week to get the newer one running, it needs a battery and some fresh fuel. The older of the two I'll probably have towed unless it fires up easy.

Winning! I think for paint you should cover the glass and let the neighborhood kids go to town with various colors of house paint and sponges:

Thanks!
Life has gotten in the way of picking them up.
Between Christmas and work, I have 0 time at the moment. Hopefully after the first of the year things will settle down and I can get to work on them.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah....hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah.
That brought tears to my eyes. Not a chance. Hell it might not make it for 2013. Much work needs to be done.

I'd imagine that when something that size needs work, it can need a lot of work.
I do love them, though.

In reply to Toyman01: I sold them when they were new and I've lusted after them ever since.. They would get an honest 10MPG on the road if not all goobered up with rood pods etc.. Buddy of mine averages better than that (as much as 15) by keeping to the back roads.
The stock Olds $%% can be replaced with the Cad Eldorado 500 cubic inch motor. With work will pull another 10,000 pound trailer. Weak area's the airbags.. replace originals and any that won't hold air overnight. Get a bigger air compressor.. the tires need help.. don't use tires that are old even if there is plenty of tread.. The nicest model was the Eleganza
Lucky You!
