    Mazdaspeed 6? Probably still out of the price range, though.

    I have heard that a huge downside of the Haldex setups is the fact if you drive on your tires for a while and then damage one beyond repair, you have to buy 4 new tires instead of 1-2, since you'll kill the Haldex if the tires are different diameters.

    If you get a Jaguar X-Type, check the Ford dealership for parts before the Jag dealership (if you get OEM parts). The more modern Jags share a lot of parts with Fords and genuine Jag parts are marked up compared to the same Ford part.

    A FWD car with four snow/ice tires ,such as Blizzaks will out perform any AWD on all sasons.

    Yep, in the snow my car goes from not real swell on normal street tires to half snowmobile on cheap studless snows...
