For this atomic death-toboggan?

Tell me this don't look like at least 15 seconds of stark terror followed by an eternity of rest.

I'd say it looks more like roughly 10 seconds of stark terror followed by a split second of "where the hell are the brakes", then an eternity of rest.

Wow. I'm actually drawn to the thing like a gnat to a zapper. Maybe it's the electric blue paint. I'd love to just show up at my wife's work in the contraption just to see the look of "stark terror" on her face.

It would be funny to put wheelie bars on the back of it....not many MG's have wheelie bars.

It needs to have the disclaimer of "i will not sell it to stupid people, but i will insist on selling it to REALLY stupid people"

YOU do know that stuff was all done 40-50yrs ago,, for myself 1956, put an Olds Rocket V8 inti a Crosley Hot Shot ,roadster, fun for about a week then twisted the body all to hell, had to rope tie the doors to the body to keep them shut.

Hey, you learn from your silliness, BUT great conversation pieces

A friend of mine once had (3) 289 Cobras and a Pantera at the same time in the mid 70's.....he showed me pics and one of them looked alot like that MG.

"They were just cars back then...." was all he said.

I remember at the World of Wheels shows back in the 80's they had these engines in what looked like storage stands but they had large slicks on back, skinny drag tire up front, a transmission of some sort, and what looked like a parachute attached to a looong rip cord. Any one know what the hell those were?

You're right. It's like a live action version of an old Ed Roth T-shirt.

If Rat Fink drove an MG...

It's wicked-cool, though. And way badass.

you got it backwards, they installed an engine to the wheels. Not much there on an MG

I shudder at the thought that it probably has the original solid disk front brakes.

And I'm absolutley fascinated at what the forward thrust feels like when the throttle is mashed. Right up until the 1-2 shift and it snaps all ~90" of wheel base completely sideways at a high rate of speed. . .

That said I'd buy it in a second if I had a spare 5 large

nah, it would probably take 15 seconds to get to the trap at the end of the strip.

D'ya think the engine outweighs the rest of the car?
