    Okieflyr,

    Can you please do a writeup on your 914 1.8t? I think lots of us would get a kick out of seeing how this project was put together. An '03 1.8t motor in a 914 sounds like awesome, reliable fun, and you kept it in the VW/Porsche family!

    Great chassis, great motor, different flavor than the typical flat-6 transplant.

    Oh Lordy Lou. I must've missed this in Reader's Rides, but clearly a 1.8T 914 needs more expanding upon.

    I think the 1.8t will bolt right up to the 901 trans without too much issue. It probably needs an adaptor, but if they can fit a v8 into an 914, I am pretty sure the 1,8t can be made to fit.

    I am more interesting in the coolng system. One of my dream cars is a type3 square back with a scooby motor

    Thanks for the interest, Let me go through the accumulated pics, and see what I can put togther. Like my head, they are quite scattered these days.
