    ya it is... Chimney Rock always fell on my birthday weekend and I'd try to go each yr... in the era before the winged monsters (John Finger), the days of John Scott and others with their Cobra's and Vette's ... we would usually sit ~ halfway up in a hairpin ... and it didn't much matter what was going by in front of you when the big V8's cranked up the earth seemed to shake..
