I will never complain about traffic again.
He who hesitates isn't lost, just run the hell over. That's insane.

looks like the hallways at work. I am not stereotyping.. but it seems that peoples from certain asiatic countries have no idea how to walk down a hallway without bunching up in a good example of the "law of numbers" and forcing everyone else out of the way.
Most of them work in housekeeping and their uniforms are brown.. so we refer to them as the "brown tide" because once they start flowing.. just get the hell out of the way.

Amen to that, but there aren't five drivers in this town that could handle that. I am one, and know the rest of them.

Little vehicles yield to big vehicles. It's actually amazing how well it works.

For some odd reason, Ted Nugent's "free-for-all" kept running through my head whilst watching that...

I'd like to see it at normal speed. Probably not quite as scary.

I spent a year working in Taiwan, and I had a Vespa for getting around on. Traffic conditions were pretty much the same as in the video, and the first thing I figured out is you never ever looked - just pull out in traffic and go, and somehow everyone else makes room for you.
If you waited for a break in traffic, you'd never get anywhere. The thing is, everyone is playing by the same rules so it all works out somehow.

Oh no, it is that scary. Try crossing one of those roads at night on foot wearing a dark suit with no streetlamps. The locals have no fear, it is just how it works. What is missing is the non stop honking. They use their horns as radar to tell the people next to them not to change lanes. Plus they pull of their side mirrors because it gives them an extra few inches of room to squeeze.

just imagine how traffic here in the US would be without traffic rule enforcement?

At least there aren't any green lights for people to brake for as they approach as they do here. Indiana is the only state I've seen that in. In Florida the old people just do what they want and cut you off and drive crazy I caught myself slowing for greens a couple of times and almost got ran down.

You should come to Missouri. They "improved" some roads and put in round-abouts. I can understand slowing down before you get into the circle, heck I even understand when old folks come to a stop and look, but the guy who slammed on his brakes while in the circle so someone else could enter almost got rear ended.

I like round-abouts as long as people know how to drive thru them. There are several on Rt 30 in PA north of me and they really help keep traffic flowing.
We got our first one here in Frederick, MD last year. Watching how people handle it is hilarous and scary at the same time. I can't wait to see what happens when they get the two cross streets built.

That's what it looked like around here the other night when we lost power to the traffic lights.
Apparently I was the only one who was told, "When the power is out at a stoplight, treat it like a stop sign...

Ditto on "normal speed." I hate it when people edit things in order to inject their version of drama into otherwise normal events.
