I just sold my 89 a couple of years ago. Would not hesitate to buy another.
Mine was an extended cab long bed 4.3 5 speed 2wd w/t. 18mpg no matter what, 5 adults comfortably, simple to fix. Rwabs was crap. Upgraded interior with suburban buckets and console and overhead console.
Fantastic truck. You can't go wrong with a good example.
