Another insane Euro build, Jon Haas style.

What was wrong with that S2000? What was wrong with the Opel? Did he just cut up two good cars to make one?

It looks like that's exactly what he did! You'd think that there's got to be a good rollover S2000 out there somewhere to use.

I also think they were both better in their original form.

thats some love for the Opel there. pretty awesome build.

I hope they dont ever have to do headwork on the s2000 engine they just dropped in, as it looks like the overhang by the firewall would now block the removal of the valve cover. meh, i guess they would just drop the engine...

I was thinking the same thing about the head (or even valve cover) when I first looked at the pictures. At that time I also noted that in the interior the shifter appears to be at your elbow, not your wrist.

I think the wheel flares are going to look goofy, we will see.
I will say, I thinked the unmolested Opel looked very good as it was.

Of course, I have little room to make these critiques since the work is not finished and the work seems to be quality otherwise.

umm yeah...So before lunch I went tothe first page where both vehicles were being stripped, and after lunch, I go to page 2 and:

    VX Opel website says:

Site Closed Thanks to all who have contributed to the site over this past 3 years, keep restoring/modifying all those VXOPEL's and best of all driving them.

    Wiskey Tango Foxtrot?

It closed while I was on my lunchbreak

Sure enough I cklick on it and get the following message "Site Closed Thanks to all who have contributed to the site over this past 3 years, keep restoring/modifying all those VXOPEL's and best of all driving them" No one happend to DL the pics did they. Way cool, I used to have a Kadett, actualy mine was a UK Chevette, but the same thing underneath.
