This year's Rolex 24 At Daytona might be a little tougher than usual--Penske is fielding a team. The second pre-season test session takes place next week, and here's the latest lineup: http://www.grand-am.com/rolex/schedule/entrylist.cfm?eid=856

Maybe because there are no open wheel races in Jan.

I love the diversity in Grand-Am lately, both in talent and equipment.
By the way, have you seen this from Autoblog.com?
I'm looking forward to some hot Camaro vs. Mustang action in GS. If Chrysler survives, they'd be foolish not to join. Imagine old school Trans Am races with BMW, Porsche, and Nissan in the mix.

thanks for the free porno.
I guess Grand-Am and porsche came to a deal if Penske is coming into the mix with one and there are a crapload of porsches in the mix.

Childress, Forsythe, and Penske fielding 2 cars. Looks like a great race this year.

If drivers come to road racing from other areas of racing it can only be a good thing. I don't want road racing to become a circus like NASCAR but we really need the publicity to keep it growing.
IMHO the recent explolsion for HPDE events has really helped bring new interest into the sport.
