Do you focus, or are your projects kinda changing daily and random?

I see something cool, and can immediately come up with a good plan. However, I also have a fairly deep supply of incomplete projects because of it. I need to look at what I have, then search out what I need, instead of adding more junk.

The reason this comes up is because of the supercharged 04 Mustang SVT Cobra sitting at the insurance auction....I can think of at least two dozen things to do with that powertrain.

Hmmmm- I wonder how completly berkeleyed up I could make Chev people by installing the engine in my 67 Camaro?

The bowtie folks usually have no problem with installing a Chevy motor in anything else. Go ahead and do it. Fair's Fair.

Usually I start obsessing on a car or drivetrain. Got a triumph that was a do-over - had to give up my first TR4 when we moved to Chicago. Now there's a pair of old fiat topolinos sitting by a farm in Wisconsin waiting... I like the idea of the ford drivetrain in the chevy.

Oh yeah - happy birthday - do eet

    Auto/project ADD. I has it.

I can think of a dozen projects in various stages of completion. There are several hundred more in the dark deep recesses of my mind. They are just waiting for the right piece of junk to come along, so I will have another incomplete project to add to the others.

I've got it!! My new hobby is collecting incomplete projects. I'll have the largest collection in the world!

    ^ This . . . .

I can find the steals . . . I just don't have room to store them.
