does anyone know the size of the average pit stall? sorry i know its an off the wall question.

You mean the "hot pits", where we do re-fueling and driver changes? At Watkins Glen,we've fit two Sprites in one pit box with about 8 feet to spare. Sprites are almost 12 feet long, so I'd guess 32 feet would be about right.
