I am considering purchasing a set of konig rewind wheels for my rx7 as these are the only wheels available in my bolt pattern it seems. My question is that while I like the look of these wheels I would really like them even better if they were gold. Is there an easy DIY way to paint them gold that would look good or are there ways to get them plated that would be somewhat affordable. I really just wish that enkei offered their classic wheels in a 4x110 bolt pattern. But concessions must be made to keep the project going until the hub swap can happen.

Powder coat or anodize is the best options I know of.

I have yet to try it, but hear nothing but good things about Duplicolor wheel paints and that they look and hold up pretty well. Probably the most inexpensive option for changing your wheel color.

Thank you I am now looking for a local powder coater/ anodizer and I am researching the duplicolor paint.

Powder coat is the best option. Anodize is difficult to do with wheels.
