As I watched, I'm thinking of the person in the show room that bought a brand new car.  Now it's there being picked apart.

I watched one at the local yard here for a bit. When he bust the transmission case the red fluid spraying everywhere was a little gory.

Pretty messy but quick.  I know nothing about recycling but I'll guess none of those panels/interior/other odds and ends were of any value at all.  Also an impressive and I'm sure very expensive to buy and run piece of machinery like that is more productive than a human carefully taking it apart.  Part of me hates the sawzall writ largeness of it but hey it's a business. smiley

Amazing seeing it just pick off entire subframes as if they're made of twigs - the amount of strength but also the precision to grab out wiring harnesses, various other modules, etc.
