My friend just picked up an A3 and keeps asking me where to look to get good idea for subwoofer placement and installation. I tell him I am not well versed in silly things like that but I will gladly tell him how to to make it faster. He tells me "OK" which leads me here; asking you fine gents and ladies. I'm assuming this is one of the cars where all the magic happens in the ECU. So far I'm thinking an open exhaust and some computer tuning will result in a pleasing increase in power. He has the 2.0 TFSI with the DSG.

A3 = GTI I don't know what works for them either but there's likely lots more tuning work been done on GTIs.

All of the VW tuners also tune the audi A3s. For exhaust look at Techtonics tuning. For ECU updrages you have REVO, APR, GIAC and possilby C2.

I have an A3. Almost all the same stuff from the GTI works on it.
