Oh, Hillbilly is surely grassroots, but is grassroots necessarily hillbilly?

Definately not hillbilly.
Hillbillies don't like "furrin" cars.

Agreed. Now if the car or kart had mismatched wheels, huge rot holes, and primer spots, it'd be a whole 'nuther ball game.

No letter box scoop, check, no fart can exhaust, check, no home made bodykit, check, definitely not hillbilly.
Awesomeness, check, purposeful, check, getting stuff done with no extras, check, definitely Grassroots.
The above statements are my opinion alone and I stand by them

Grassroots all the way. With a capital G.
Hint: if that had a GRM sticker on it and was sent in to David in high res, it would be in the magazine.

Honda, lowered, with lightweight wheels. Kart has slicks on it, not knobbies.
This is DEFINITELY not hillbilly.

Completely GRM. Gotta be interesting getting that cart up and down off of there. Better make sure you have at least one friend along and preferably a couple more too.

Nah you just need one friend. I used to fit a kart and all tools and spares into the back of my roommates Geo Metro.

I think it would be a lot easier getting it in the car versus on top of the car.

If you go back and look at pictures from the dawn of karting (late 1950s) that's how many people carried them around - either on the roof, or inside their '59 Impala station wagons.

Absolutely grassroots. If it was a deer, it would be hillbilly.

If it was hillbilly the Civic would be on top of the kart, not the reverse.
