Working out a plan, its a few years off and I need to dig up sponsorship to afford it, but the old girl is just an adventure machine so Im not willing to stop just yet ;) Sadly there's just not enough VW in her to qualify for Beetleball 2012 or that would be next.
You need to maybe setup a sponsorship effort through Facebook, Jalopnik, here, I know the money is big to run Newfoundland, but 2 years ago this board raised funds to bring Nascho to the challenge on the east coast and IIRC that was over $1000. I'm not saying that'll even get you close, looks like 2011 has almost a $6000 entrance fee. Once you tack on travel, food, race gas, tires, spares, etc... Still, I think you should, it'd be one helluva accomplishment...
