Think this would be streetable? It only has 11,000 miles on it (I bet they were mostly done at WOT on the track though). Price seems really good for such a wicked track car.

I actually did a track day at Spring Mountain in Pahrump, NV a few years ago and ForceFed brought a few cars. They were insanely fast and sounded like the devil.

I'd be curious to know what this one weighs.

I like it. It makes me wonder how minimalist a car can go and stay street legal.

Does it really count as a convertible if it has no top. What exactly does it convert to? Looks like a fun toy.

    I don't think the Elise/Exige predacessor was a featured out luxo-barge.

I know this is street legal with the same exceptions that the Lotus had to pick up to be put on the street.

    For the true minimalist.

Isn't the term "minimalist Elise" at least slightly redundant?

    no, it's minimally redundant

If they'd done a center drive conversion it would be even more minimalist.

That's fawesome. Could be a little clapped out, though. From the Lotus boards apparently the dealer can tap into the engine control computer and find out generally how hard it's been revved etc. Not sure the specifics.

Why is there a door leaning against the black 350Z in the background?

Words and such regarding ECU dumps

I'd add some rivet on carbon fiber flares and try to fit some bigger tires. I'm thinking 255 minimum, 275 more likely.

Regarding the ECU dump, it has a standalone engine management system, so you may be out of luck.

I even like the color. I posted it to my Christmas list. Here's hoping someone in my family feels magnanimous.

Looks like just the interior panel - weight savings?

looks like a door panel for a different car. Not elise shaped in my eyes.

I think you would just add weight going to such large rims and tyres

Yeah but that would be minimalist for a motorcycle. We are talking cars.
