Just about all of us at some point. We have three booths and we'll be displaying the former Group44 GT6 (in whatever state Tim can get it to by Tuesday morning. Hint: As of yesterday it was a body in white).
Not sure what the booth number is, but someone with that info will probably chime in soon.

Bill from Flyin' Miata is wandering around. He's probably wearing an FM shirt, and might be hanging around the GRM booth telling lies.

Is there any way for mortals to get in? Or is it SEMA-like, for industry folks only?

Technically just industry. Sorry.

In reply to dyintorace:
If you are in college join your student SAE chapter. We have about 10 guys going from UCF to beg for sponsorships for our formula car.

That's what's different between SEMA and PRI. SEMA is girls showing off their aftermarket parts, PRI is about crotchety old men showing you their crankshafts.

^That right there, is prime 'Say what?' material. Best innuendo ever

I'm going to be there as a guest of Dynapack. We'll be using one of the shop cars in their outdoor dyno exhibit.

I have been told an SCCA membership card will get you in but I have not tried it before. If youre close it might be worth a shot.

I would be very surprised if an SCCA card gets you in. From the press release: "This is a trade-only event. Only authorized retail buyers and employees of legitimate racing companies will be admitted." I can't find but seem to remember something on the entry form saying "members of amateur racing teams are not permitted."

Hey MadScientistMatt,
Stop by our booth one of the days you are there. We are Booth 1149.
I would like to pick your brain on slant sixes. ( You seem to be the only person with one in readers rides) I just picked up a 1980 Dodge Aspen with 21,000 miles for $250.

Ok, will do! Sounds like a very lucky find if it isn't too rusty.

Wasn't rust standard factory equipment on those?

Starting in '78 they changed it to special order.

Was that part of the Rich Corinthian Leather package?

Nah, that was the Cordoba.
The Aspen was like a Volare, but with all the glamour and excitement of a mountaintop resort town!

It isn't too rusty just a spot on the hood and one under the Landau top. Oh the luxury.
I figure it is hard to lose on a $250 running car.
