The '83 944 I picked up a few weeks ago for the bargain price of $1200 is alive! New reference and speed sensors did the trick. The car has probably been out of commission for over a year so it feels good to bring her back to life! Had some troubles running at first, but I'm sure there is some old gas in there. After warming her up, she held a nice idle right at 900 rpms. As the coolant temps went up, the fan kicked on and cooled it right down. Going to go through now and change out all fluids, replace the clutch master and slave and see if we can get her back on the road where she belongs.
