JG and David represented Grassroots Motorsports at the SCCA Tire Rack Solo Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska, with JG driving our Mustang GT project car in the CAM-C class. At the CAM Invitational, an event that takes place the weekend before the Solo Nats, JG finished third out of 31 entries—and don’t forget that our Mustang’s engine just features some mild bolt-ons yet the class allows nearly anything.

A suspension snafu ended Day 1 after JG only recorded one run, but he bounced back on Day 2, setting the sixth-fastest time of the day. He missed a trophy by 0.075 second.

In between all of the on-track action we hung out with lots of friends, hosted Talent and Tacos with our friends from BFGoodrich and the Lincoln Visitors Bureau, and saw more than a few GRM stickers. Thanks, everyone, for the representation.
