a R8 isn't necessarily grassroots ($) but still, WOW what a car... to bad it was stuffed in a ditch at VIR yesterday...
... looked like a front left suspension failure .... 2 drivers, 4 half hr run groups per day for 2 days... even with the huge amount of compression forced on the left front while going through Hog-Pen you'd think something like the R8 would have been over engineered to the point it could have withstood this kind of "abuse"....
