    I need a seat harness, finding them on ebay priced from $30 to $300. Recomendations? ebay 5 point universal cam lock at $20.99 i am cheap but thats scary! I just put a OMP grip seat in my s2000, getting started in tt. Help out a beginner with a limited budget.

    Fliped my car 3 weeks ago when i lost the rear axle. Not a mark on me. Yes I replaced them, at $60 cheap insurance any hard hit toss'em

    Make sure the belts are rated for wherever you are competing. Some groups want SFI ratings and others want FIA.

    SFI Belts are 2 year belts... FIA belts = good for 5 years. Even if they're the same exact belt. Don't get me started on that one ;)

    Bugs me too.

    The SafeRacer site sells the FIA-tagged belts for $129 (I have them). If you're going SCCA, NASA or similar groups, it may be worth it to buy the FIA belts and be good for 5 years (even if it is a rip).

    I don't care what the SAFTEY group says they get replaced every year and every impact. Sun light kills the belts Be safe replace offten

    This is why I don't mind buying the SFI belts for cheaper since they need replaced after 2 years of sun exposure anyway.
