I have a 2012 Ram 1500 RCSB Express with the 40/20/40 bench. I want to move the jump seat backwards. I would prefer if I could just move the seat back itself, but with the hinge and stuff it would likely be difficult.
I want to move it back so I can see around my daughters ridiculous "racing seat" that has the crazy side bolsters and head and neck restraint thing going on. I know when she is old enough and big enough she will be in a booster, but for the next 1.5 years I am screwed.
No, I can't buy a new extended cab/crew cab. I would if I could.
I haven't really looked at the seat itself to see if it's even possible to move it, or if I'll just have to fab up some brackets and unbolt/bolt and be done.
Anyone done this, or have any ideas?
