spotted on a flatbed on I-95 today (along with a Park Service vehicle that had clearly rolled over onto its top)
I'm thinking he needs slightly wider rear wheels for those tires!

Nope... perfect. Just needs better offsets to tuck the wheels better or nice fat fender flares.

I think it could use some period correct mags, but yeah. I dig it, the originality is sort of endearing. And it's a cheap look to achieve.

the part of the pickup you can see looks good, but the cab was partially crushed and the entire side of the bed was smashed in. Either a rollover or a tree fell on it. Either way, it looked like a $$$$$$ repair for what was probably a stripper official vehicle not worth it...

Maybe a strange bastard combo as the drivetrain of the wrecked truck goes into the body of the '67 Camaro. Would a stripper truck like that have a 5cyl with manual trans? Could make for an interesting daily driver classic body Camaro.

I wonder how many of those cars just disappear. I remember pick and pull had a 68 camaro that wasn't in much worse shape than that and they set out out for like 30 minutes to let someone pull a few parts then crushed it because they didnt want ot deal with people wanting to buy the body (I think it was a junk title or something like that). Those are likely headed to an auction, or its a transport company.

OH HELL YES! Rock that freaking patina! Needs some work on the stance (i.e. lowering), and a helluva exhaust note (and the power to back it up), but otherwise I vote to keep the patina as-is. If you could track down some old deep offset Western turbines or aluminum slots, it'd be AWESOME! Like on this one:
