Definitely not Challenge budget, but I like this one. I spent an hour looking at it at a local cruise-in last year.

I could see it going for 20-30k if it was all original (numbers matching), but with the turbo motor, he has had to update some of the original parts (brakes, steering, transaxle...) to handle the 450+ hp he claims.

I agree that it is overpriced. But he has all the parts to put it back to stock and it would be all original. This is the most meticulously restored VW I have ever seen. Every last little detail is correct.
The key is "OBO". I wonder what it would bring at B-J...
The add on thesamba was deleted yesterday so the split probably sold.
