Wow, a California style Bug, never seen those before...
70k seems high. beautiful - Yes, lots of work - yes, overpriced - yes.
I could see it going for 20-30k if it was all original (numbers matching), but with the turbo motor, he has had to update some of the original parts (brakes, steering, transaxle...) to handle the 450+ hp he claims.

I agree that it is overpriced. But he has all the parts to put it back to stock and it would be all original. This is the most meticulously restored VW I have ever seen. Every last little detail is correct.
