Keep looking. I just pick up one for less than $1000. In the last two years the PO replaced, the brakes, the top, the alternator and the cat. Everything works including the AC. I also got the complete service records for the car. The bad is the miles are high, the paint is faded, until saturday it smelled like tobacco strongly, and engine has oil leaks to fix.

Yeah, that's the one! It's definitely a stock 1.6. If the Affidavit was in his name we'd have a deal, but it's not. It drives nice but it is rough.

Nope, fiberglass... If they were aluminum or another alloy, they'd be going for 3 grand, not a thousand or so.
