that looks nice, though i have a soft spot for the bare engine too. i'm digging the wheel covers, are they from the studebaker?

Scrap metal sheet. Bent under a piece of roll bar tubing. The reinforcement is VW Bug hood structure narrowed 1 7/16". Two golfball sized scoops of bondo at the body line cut and a pint of New Holland Yellow tractor paint from Tractor Supply. -

No, the Stude is complete and will be getting new 296 cube engine soon. The 355 will be freshened with much better heads and be installed in another car. The coupe has a 260 cube experiment of sorts.WilberM3 wrote: nice to see the new shop in good use!
And it's warm. I.ve not been warm in the winter except when going to other garages. Tried to work in the barn a few times and could not imagine how I used to work in the cold like that everyday. What a blessing the new shop has been. -
