I'm pretty sure the idea of the car is to garner attention... it's working.

Note to parents: please pay attention to your children lest they resort to this sort of lameness.

The Holocaust already has it's own industry. That may sound tasteless, but it was told to me by a real Jew

After looking at the rest of the photos, I agree. Did you catch the wires hanging out next to the ignition? And the rust. Lets not even start with the welding. Since when is (sloppily) welding a plate onto the oil pan a fix. I didn't get the mural either. I thought it was what was mentioned but holding out a phone? Either way bad taste. I have seen show cars that when parked will lower to have camber as shown but before driven hydraulics raise it up to a better ground clearance and more realistic camber. And he seemed proud of the attention it got, and most of it was negative.

I do not get it.. I know a few "enthusiasts" with VAG cars.. and all of them seem to go out of their way to make them look like E36 M3..

    In reply to amg_rx7:

Yeah, this definitely wasn't done by someone who had to work for the money to buy or fix his car. This is a money to burn and little common sense situation.

On the vortex he constantly complained about his mom not giving him money to replace all the broken CV joints...

This is the first time I have seen this and when I looked at the posted pic I thought that he had broken the suspension on one side of the car. Then I looked at the ad and Holy E36 M3! My next thought was "Why would any one do this. EVER!"

Other than the E36 M3ty engineering and stupid camber, I actually really like the car. Reminds me of something I would have driven in high-school....if those cars had actually been old back then.

I'd straighten the suspension up, blast a coat of paint on that thing and drive it everywhere.

    But in this case...me, too.

Paint the hood and fix the suspension and i'd rock it. Does that make me a bad person?

As a show-piece, I don't think it's all that terrible. Interesting, if nothing else.

Obviously it's not a functional car anymore, though.
