My daughter is going to look at a 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS to replace the Supercoup. The Cobalt has been tuned for E85 fuel. What does it take to reverse that tune so it could run regular fuel.
The car in question.

If hptuners, shouldn’t need a thing if it has a flex fuel sensor. Otherwise subtract out 30% of fuel.
Edit: spark tables may need tuned back a few degrees on gas if it’s a 93 tune to run rotgut.
You can always download a stock tune and copy/paste the tables to your pcm. Hptuners makes it easy with a function that lets you open two tunes and there is a change all differences function
You'll need to find out how it was tuned.
My gut reaction is to not bother with it. People tune on E85 for POWAH!
