Most Fiesta buyers don't plan on any track work with with their shiny new cars. Needless to say, we have a different life planned for our 2012 Ford Fiesta.

Unfortunately for us, though, Ford had mainstream buyers in mind when it chose tires for its new sub-compact. Base Fiestas, like ours roll off of showroom floors with Kumho Solus KH25 tires. While these tires are quiet and help the car get better fuel mileage, they aren't exactly performance-oriented.

To remedy this, we ordered 15x7 Rota RB wheels, then wrapped them in 225/45/15R Toyo Proxes R1R tires. With some new lug nuts from Tire Rack, the wheels and tires bolted on painlessly.

Our Fiesta sticks in the corners like never before with the new tires and wheels. We can't wait to take it to the track to see how much they have really helped.

Are you considering adding negative front camber? Also, any thoughts on the non-defeat ESC and how active it is with the new tires?
