Ohhh dear. Did you see the driver afterward? He just shakes his head and drops his right foot again. Professional.

Me thinks the Mini Driver may get a talking to. The term hold your line comes to mind.

Right before the Mini incident I was thinking "Wow, these guys are really well-behaved." Even so, there's lots of discipline and level-headed driving here. The guys with fast cars knew the right times to pass.
I don't think the Mini driver ever knew the 911 was there, and was completely at fault in that incident.

WTF was the guy in the mini thinking? Not only does he push him off - he moves to the center of the track and parks it afterward.

I think both were at fault. The MINI driver screwed up, the blue flags were out and he really should have held his line. The 911 driver was overly optimistic because even under the best of conditions that really wasn't a great place to pass a much slower car.
The guy in the Mercedes (which was a good bit faster than the 911) saw traffic coming, just hung back and let it happen. Smart man.

Merc guy must be REALLY used to bonehead moves. he shook his head more at himself when he got a little loose coming out of a turn not long after that then when he shook it at the mini-porsche accident.

But did he ever catch up to the R8?
Yeah, he did a good job anticipating and avoiding the incident. To bad hanging back let the R8 disappear.
