Rest of the world never got a factory 13B FB. Everybody else got 12A Turbo versions and the FC in 85. So everywhere else actually only has 4x110. The difference is that bolt pattern is far more common overseas.

    Jensenman,

I can see that working. NHRA requires a press-in stud though so it wouldn't pass an actual tech at a dragstrip. I'm sure local T-N-T nights would let it fly (depending on how fast the car was).

    That's not what I meant.

ROW cars had 4x114.3 in '84-85 with bog standard 12As. They got to keep the early dashboard, too. The North American market was one of the few (only?) markets to have 110mm lug pattern in those years. Or for that matter, drum rear brakes.

http://www.ausrotary.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=26681 AusRotor lists series 3 RX-7s has all being 114.3.

Rest of the World got the FC in 85, so of course they had 4x114.3. We were the only ones saddled with the FB that long.

"Series 3" is '84-85 US, no matter what the model year was elsewhere: altered rear geometry, thicker axles, bigger wheel and axle bearings.
