    I hope I'm not questioning an advertiser, but I have a question regarding the safety of a fixed back set we have in our Lemons car.

    It's an older model of the entry level Corbeau set, which I'm guessing is the .

    The contruction of the back support is a tube frame with a sling back > I have a similar seat in my race car (Cobra Monaco) that has a steel plate welded in as a back support - the Corbeau is open.

    Is the Corbeau less safe? we do have an I/O Port back brace to prevent it from collapsing.

    I know that Corbeau had it's FIA certification revoked a number of years ago. Essentially, any Corbeau seat that had an FIA tag, the tag was invalidated, even if it was still within it's "lifespan"
